Deliveroo is an on-demand premium food delivery service founded by William Shu and Greg Orlowski. The company delivers meals from a wide selection of independent and high-quality chain restaurants right to their customers’ homes or offices. In 2016, Deliveroo expanded its service to the Kowloon area and launches its Android version of the app.




Voltage X’s main objective was to introduce Deliveroo to the local audience here in Hong Kong. Voltage X provided Public Relations services to target Chinese media through a press release dispatch as well as media pitching in order to reach the target audience. As Deliveroo had also acquired exclusive partnership with Maxim’s Group, Maximal Concepts and Swire along with many others, Voltage X decided to incorporate KOL marketing to increase brand exposure and awareness. Our KOL strategy was to collaborate with popular food and lifestyle KOL personalities in order to magnify the online exposure not only for Deliveroo but also for their strategic partners.


Key Result

Voltage X successfully acquired a overreaching amount of in-person interview opportunities for the General Manager of Deliveroo Hong Kong. In addition, Voltage X successfully reached the local target audience and increased the download rate for both versions of the app, Android and iOS.
